Shutdown Festival - Hardstyle at a nuclear power plant
The Shutdown Festival in Austria offers a unique setting for a weekend of the best hardstyle sounds. Since 2015, 15.000 new and old fans of this event have gathered annually in the shadow of a nuclear power plant that has not only been decommissioned, but never put into operation, to breathe life and celebration into it for one day a year.
Thus, this structure serves a purpose it would never have dared dream - to provide a home for thousands of music fans.
To make this home safe and secure, we provided and implemented both production networks and surveillance technology for the Shutdown Festival.
With several cameras and access points, a small but fine area-wide system could be installed, which enabled the smooth running of both the cashless system and the production network behind the scenes.
